Cuando decimos que ‘Power Gig: Rise of the SixString’ se presenta como el rival de ‘Guitar Hero’ lo decimos con todo el sentido del mundo. No se trata simplemente de un competidor económico, sino de un rival casi por filosofía.
Sin ir más lejos, poco tiempo atrás, los chicos de Seven45 Studios tiraron cientos de guitarras de ‘Guitar Hero’ al interior de un volcán en Islandia. ¿Puede haber una forma más provocadora de practicar el marketing más agresivo?
La empresa tiene claro que su guitara es mucho mejor que la de cualquier juego musical que haya salido hasta ahora. De hecho, funciona con cuerdas en lugar de botones y puede tocarse tanto dentro como fuera del juego. Interesante.
La batería también pretende ser revolucionaria, y del micro no han hablado mucho, pero cuentan con el apoyo de artistas del calibre de Eric Clapton, Dave Matthews Band y Kid Rock. Estos tres publicarán temas inéditos únicamente para el juego en cuestión.
‘Power Gig: Rise of the Sixtring’ saldrá a mediados del mes que viene en Estados Unidos, mientras que para su lanzamiento en España tendremos que esperar a finales de año.
Recientemente se ha dado a conocer la lista definitiva de artistas y temas que compondrán su banda sonora jugable (BSJ, siglas que me acabo de inventar pero que pueden servir, así que usadlas por ahí).
